Overview
A Web Feature Service (WFS) is a standard protocol developed by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) for serving geospatial features over the web. It allows clients to request and retrieve vector-based geospatial data, such as points, lines, and polygons, in a standardized format. WFS supports operations like querying, retrieving geospatial features.
IMPORTANT
Although WFS can support data modification operations (like inserting, updating, or deleting features), our support is currently focused on read-only operations, specifically the retrieval of geospatial features.
